Saturday Sessions

Grow your leadership skills, build community, and support your own personal development at our Saturday Sessions hosted on the Virginia Tech campus. These occur several times a semester. If you have questions or concerns, please email us.

Trips and college tours

TRIO Programs offers the opportunity to tour a wide variety of colleges and universities in Virginia and beyond. Recent trips have included Charlotte, North Carolina - where students attended the NCAA March Madness Tournament, University of North Carolina - Charlotte, and Carowinds Amusement Park - and Gainesville, Florida to attend a national TRIO conference at the University of Florida.

All trips are free to accepted applicants!

Cultural experiences

Open your eyes to the world! TRIO Programs takes participants to places they may have never been before, such as a Broadway play, a symphony performance, a special meal, a ride on the New York City subway, national landmarks and museums, or other unique experiences.
